Serbian city shaken by a flurry of bullets, 8 people killed and 13 injured, police engaged in search of the accused.

The fierce firing took place late Thursday night near the Serbian city. The incident took place near Mladenovac, about 60 kilometers south of the capital Belgrade.

Eight people were killed and 13 injured in the firing. According to the news channel RTS television, the attacker opened fire from a moving vehicle.

He has fired bullets from automatic weapons. The accused immediately fled from the spot. Police are looking for the attacker.

A heavy police force was deployed in the area and several ambulances rushed to the scene, while helicopters were flying overhead to monitor the area.

Serbia’s Interior Ministry is treating the incident as an act of domestic terrorism.

All specialized police units have been deployed in the area, including an anti-terrorist unit, a helicopter unit, and police forces from the cities of Belgrade and Smederevo.

Serbian special forces are actively searching for the suspect, and Interior Minister Gacic is on the scene.

According to Serbia’s state-run Madia RTS television, the shooting occurred near Mladenovac when the attacker fired an automatic gun from a moving vehicle and fled. Police are looking for the attacker.
