A case of attack on the Swedish embassy in Iraq’s capital Baghdad has come to light. Hundreds of protesters set fire to Sweden’s embassy on Thursday morning.
A witness familiar with the matter told Reuters news agency that hundreds of protesters suddenly stormed the Swedish embassy in Baghdad on Thursday morning and set it on fire shortly afterwards.
No employee was harmed.
The source, however, said that no embassy staff was harmed. At the same time, the officials of the Embassy of Sweden in Baghdad have not responded to the incident.
