Moscow Drone Attack: Drone attack on 2 buildings in Moscow, Russia’s Defense Ministry blames Ukraine.

Moscow Drone Attack: Terrorist drones attacked the Russian capital Moscow. Russia’s Defense Ministry blamed Ukraine for Monday’s attack.

According to the city’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, two buildings were affected by the drone strike.

The media issued a report that the debris of the drone was found not far from the buildings of the Ministry of Defense.

The Defense Ministry said on its Telegram messaging app that both drones were shot down.

Early Morning Attacks.

Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his Telegram messaging app that two non-residential buildings were attacked at around 4 a.m. (0100 GMT).

There was no serious damage or casualties in this attack. However, it is not clear whether the drones hit the buildings while demolishing them or whether they targeted the buildings intentionally.

Neither the Defense Ministry nor the mayor said where the drones were intercepted.

Drone fragments found on Komsomolsky Avenue.

Russia’s state news agencies, citing emergency services, reported that fragments of the drone were found near a building on Komsomolsky Avenue, which runs through central Moscow.

The site is approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) from the buildings of the Ministry of Defence.

Russian news agencies reported that traffic was closed along Komsomolsky Avenue as well as on Likhachev Avenue south of Moscow, where a high-rise office building was damaged.
