US Announced USD 550 Million Military Aid To Ukraine

US announced USD 550 million in military aid to Ukraine, says will continue support against Russia.

The United States has announced military aid of USD 550 million to Ukraine. The State Department gave this information in a statement on Monday.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said:

“Today’s announcement includes more ammunition for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMR) and the 155mm Artillery System, which Ukraine’s military can use on the battlefield to defend their country.”

Military aid to reach $8.7 billion.

Blinken said the drawdown would bring total US military aid to Ukraine to about US$8.7 billion since the start of Joe Biden’s administration.

“The United States stands with allies and partners in more than 50 countries in providing critical security assistance to support the defense of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against Russian aggression,” he said.

Blinken said the people of Ukraine inspire the world as they defend their country and defend their freedom from brutal and unprovoked attacks by Russia for more than five months.

“This is a tragic and devastating war entirely of Russia’s choice,” he said.
