UP CM Launched Women Help Desk In 1535 Police Stations

UP CM Yogi Adityanath launched women help desk in 1535 police stations. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also continuously monitoring it after launching the mission-oriented 180-day mission dedicated to the safety and dignity of women and girls in Uttar Pradesh.

In this sequence, CM Yogi launched the Women’s Help Desk in 1535 police stations of the state on Friday. In these police stations, arrangements will be made for prompt action on problems related to women.

The final report will also be put up within the stipulated time frame. Separate women constables and rooms have been arranged for diagnosis and safety of the problem of women and girls.

The Chief Minister also interacted with women policemen posted at the help desk through video conferencing.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign has got new energy with the establishment of women’s help desk in 1535 police stations of the state. It has been a week since the ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign started.

There has been a big change in the society in these seven days. CM Yogi said that the government will provide security and respect to all daughters. Whatever steps have to be taken for this will be taken.

He said that what the other departments have done with the police for the ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign in these seven days should be reviewed because this mission is not one-sided.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the women help desk at 1535 police stations should be ensured to appoint a trained woman employee with all the basic facilities. It should be our endeavor to get quick justice to the real victim.

We have to make this campaign successful through public participation, because without it it cannot be successful.

Self-defense training to 10 lakh girl students of universities and colleges: About 10 lakh girl students studying in universities and degree colleges are being given online training in martial arts under Mission Shakti.

At the same time, psychological counseling programs are also being conducted online by educational institutions and full emphasis is being given to strengthen the self-confidence of the students.

Parents are being administered oath by educational institutions that they will not discriminate between son and daughter. These programs are being organized in institutions with the help of NSS, NCC, and the Department of Physical Education.

Life imprisonment to 13 more accused in women’s crime: In the last 24 hours under the Mission Shakti, the prosecution department has succeeded in punishing 13 more accused for life imprisonment in cases of heinous crimes involving women and children.

The Directorate of Prosecution has so far sentenced 68 accused to life imprisonment, 88 accused to 10 years and other imprisonment and fine. Similarly, the four accused have been sentenced to simple imprisonment, while 53 have been punished.

With the bail of 485 accused dismissed, 172 criminals have been made district Badar. Apart from this, the action is being taken on 901 complaints on 1090 October 20 under Mission Shakti.

He said that action was taken on 3915 complaints related to women on 112 between October 17 and 21. These include 3394 complaints of domestic violence and 521 complaints of tampering.
