United Opposition Gave The Ultimatum To The Imran Government
United opposition gave the time till 31 January to the Imran government, said – Move from power, otherwise be ready: Pakistan.
The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has given an ultimatum till 31 January to the government led by Imran Khan.
The opposition has insisted that Imran Khan-led government should resign by 31 January.
A coalition of 11 opposition parties has said that if the Imran government does not resign, there will be intense movements across the country.
Dawn quoted Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rahman as saying that we want to make it clear to the government that he should resign by 31 January.
Rehman said this during a media interaction in Lahore in the presence of PML-N’s Maryam Nawaz, PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and other opposition leaders.
Announcement of long march will be decided after meeting of united opposition
Rahman said that if the Imran government did not accept the demand of the opposition, then the opposition would be bound for the long march.
He said that the announcement of the long march will be decided after the meeting of the opposition. He said that the meeting would be held in Islamabad on 1 February.
After this, the date of the long march will be announced. Rahman has appealed to the PDM and all opposition parties in Pakistan to start preparing for the launch march from today.
During the Lahore rally, Geo News quoted Rehman as saying that we will march towards Islamabad in late January or February.
I will not allow illegitimate government to govern
Rahman further said that now we will not allow the illegitimate government to rule. Only after it is finished will we breathe peacefully.
Let us know that the next general elections in Pakistan will be held in the year 2023, but the opposition is trying to remove the elected government headed by Imran.
Meanwhile, a rally was held in Pakistan’s northeastern city of Lahore in support of the opposition despite the Corona epidemic.
Following his sixth power show against the Imran Khan-led government in Haur, the PDM convened a meeting of the party’s top leaders to discuss the strategy for the next rally to be held in Larkana.
The PDM has organized five rallies since October 16 in Peshawar, Gujranwala, Karachi, Quetta, and Multan.
