TMC Said- Our Govt In Bengal Worked For The People
TMC said- Trinamool Congress government in Bengal worked for the people more than any other govt : Bengal Assembly Elections 2021.
The ruling TMC in Bengal said on Tuesday that the Mamata Banerjee-led government has done a lot of development work over the years and large-scale roads and bridges have been constructed in cities and villages.
State Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Subrata Mukherjee said that no previous government in Bengal had done so much development work.
Mukherjee said, “We have done extraordinary work, roads and bridges have been built in cities and villages across the state.” The previous governments have never done as much work as we did.
“He said that under the ‘Bangla Gramin Sadak Yojana’, the Trinamool Congress government constructed 35,611 km of roads at a cost of Rs 16,561 crore.
He said, “Roads and bridges contribute to the socio-economic development of the region and our Chief Minister is aware of this.
Reconstruction and repair works are also seen in areas affected by natural disasters like Cyclone Amphon. “
Bengal is the best in the field of road construction
State Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee on Tuesday claimed that Bengal is the best in the country in the field of road construction.
He informed that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced a new project.
For the repair of roads across the state, ‘Pathshree Abhiyan’ has been started, under which a total of 12,000 kilometers of roads will be repaired.
The project will cover 7,000 roads across the state. The state government has set a target of completing 690 km of road works by FY 2020-2021.
Targeting the Modi government, Subrata Mukherjee said that ‘Make in India’ is actually ‘Sell India’.
Everything from cell to rail is being sold. Efforts are on to sell every public asset of the nation. The central government has ruined BSNL in the last six years.
It forced 75,000 BSNL employees to take VRS.
The central government is also preparing to sell various public equipment including Bengal Chemicals, Alloy Steel Plant, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Container Corporation of India Limited.
The Trinamool Congress will not allow this to happen and will continue to oppose it strongly.
