TMC Eliminated In Cooperative Society Elections In Nandigram
TMC eliminated in cooperative society elections: Didi failed in front of Suvendu in Nandigram.
In Nandigram, once a stronghold of the Trinamool Congress, the BJP on Sunday registered a big victory in the election of a cooperative agriculture society.
The BJP has captured the Bhekutia Cooperative Agriculture Development Committee, which was held by Trinamool for a long time.
There was an atmosphere of tension regarding this election since Sunday morning. A heavy police force was deployed in the area to handle the situation.
TMC eliminated in cooperative society elections: The results were announced in the afternoon.
The BJP won 11 out of 12 seats. On the other hand, Trinamool Congress had to be content with only one seat.
TMC also won this seat by a margin of only 1 vote. This victory of the BJP is considered very important in the political circles of Bengal.
At the same time, TMC has accused the BJP of rigging the elections. Nandigram Trinamool Block President Bappaditya Kar said that we wanted peaceful voting, but BJP has won by bringing in outsiders.
He alleged that the BJP took outsiders to the booth to influence the voters.
On the other hand, BJP’s East Medinipur district vice-president Praloy Pal said that where voters will be able to vote without fear, Trinamool will lose and BJP will win.
The same happened in Bhekutia of Nandigram. Trinamool’s allegation of bringing in outsiders is completely wrong. He said that BJP will win in Panchayat and Lok Sabha elections also.
The main opposition BJP in the state is constantly attacking the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government, which is surrounded by allegations of corruption in West Bengal.
Meanwhile, the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari has again challenged the TMC.
He said that after December this corrupt government of Mamata Banerjee will not be allowed to run.
He said this at a party program in Behala. Even before this, Suvendu officials have claimed many times in the recent past that there will be no Mamta government after December.
It is worth mentioning that Nandigram was made the stronghold of TMC by the Adhikari family. Suvendu, his father, and his brother all three were in TMC.
Now that along with Suvendu, his family has also joined the BJP, the TMC fort in Nandigram also seems to be demolished.
In the last assembly elections also, Suvendu Adhikari defeated Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee from Nandigram.
Suvendu Adhikari wrote in a tweet, “Congratulations to all the nationalist voters of Bhekutiya Samabe Krishi Unnayan Samiti of my Nandigram constituency and the elected director panel of BJP.
Such victory paves the way for more success in the future, Congratulations. Clashes had erupted between workers of both parties in the elections held on Sunday.
A BJP candidate, who won the election, alleged that the Trinamool tried to bring in outsiders to obstruct them, but voters scuttled their plans.
Pictures aired on news channels showed some women assaulting a member of a local panchayat Samiti.
It is said that the person is a member of the Trinamool Congress. He was rescued by the policemen of Nandigram police station
