Three Smugglers Were Sentenced To Ten Years Each

Three smugglers were sentenced to ten years each, the three guilty a fine of one lakh each.

Finding three accused guilty in an NDPS case, the District Sessions Judge has sentenced them to ten years each. At the same time, the three convicts have been punished with a fine of one lakh rupees each.

On 24 February 2019, a checking campaign was conducted by the team of police and SOG. The vehicle coming from Dotiyal’s side was stopped during the operation.

Three people were sitting in the car and some katas were seen near them.

On seeing the suspect, the police asked about the katas, then the three people told the police that they do the work of making rugs, there are old clothes in them.

Police asked the three people to take their own katas and get them checked.

20 kg 945 g ganja was recovered from two bags found with Imran Ahmed, 26 kg 11 g ganja from two plastic sacks told by Sueb Sajna, and 27 kg 358 g ganja from two plastic sacks found with Vikas Mishra.

A total of 74 kg 413 grams of ganja being brought illegally was recovered by the police from the three accused.

A case was registered under the NDPS Act for the arrest of all three accused. On which the court has ruled.

Three smugglers were sentenced to ten years each: District Government Advocate Faujdari Puran Singh Kaida argued the matter.

Special Sessions Judge Malik Mazhar Sultan sentenced Imran Ahmed’s son Amir Ahmed resident of Pakka Kot, Kashipur to ten years imprisonment and a one lakh fine.

Mohd. Sueb Raza’s son Dildar Hussain resident Katratala Kashipur was sentenced to ten years and a one lakh fine.

Third accused Vikas Mishra’s son Dharmesh Mishra resident Maheshpura Kashipur district Udham Singh Nagar was found guilty and punished with ten years imprisonment and a one lakh fine.
