Kerala High Court Judge Justice Divan Ramachandran on Saturday encouraged teachers to open schools after a long gap.

In a program of Kochi Metro Sahodaya School, High Court Judge Ramachandran said, ‘The school administration should first give information about the prevention of corona to the children.

Students will start attending schools from November 1.

It can be difficult in the beginning. Not all parents may be ready to send their children to school. Don’t pressure anyone to come to school. If all goes well, schools will be back to normal by December.

“The teachers will find it difficult to convince the five, six, and seven-year-olds who have not yet visited the school,” he said.

Schools in the state have been announced to open from 1st day with strict adherence to the Covid 19 protocol.

The state government has also issued new guidelines for offline campus teaching. According to the new policy, only 10 students per class should be included at a time.

Let us inform you that in view of the reduction in corona infection, the guidelines for reopening schools in Kerala have been jointly prepared by the Departments of Education and Health.

According to the report, the committee has also proposed to set aside time for physical classes to avoid overcrowding.

Know what are the guidelines for schools-

Till class 7 only one student will be allowed to sit on a bench while in class eight and onwards two students will be allowed to sit on a bench.

After the opening of schools, lunch is not allowed inside the campus only during the initial days. Schools have been asked to sanitize classrooms and set up health check-up centers at regular intervals.

Schools will have to make a complete schedule based on the number of students in a class.

Apart from this, ten students up to class 4 and 20 students up to class 12 are allowed to attend offline classes at a time inside the campus.

Under the Covid protocol, it is mandatory for students, teachers, and staff to wear masks and maintain social distance. Along with this, hands have to be cleaned regularly.
