Three Henchmen Of Terrorist Rinda Arrested By Punjab Police

Three henchmen of terrorist Rinda, who is hiding in Pakistan arrested, arms and ammunition were recovered from the drone.

Punjab Police has arrested three people, including the main accused in the Shaurya Chakra awardee Balwinder Singh Sandhu murder case.

It has been revealed in the investigation that the wires of these three are related to Harvinder Singh Rinda, a terrorist sitting in Pakistan.

One hand grenade, one RDX-IED, two .30 bore pistols, magazines, 13 cartridges, 635 grams of heroin, and 100 grams of opium were recovered from them at the instance of the accused.

Firozpur Range Inspector General (IG), Jaskaran Singh, and Tarn Taran Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ranjit Singh Dhillon told the media that the fugitive criminal (PO) Gurvinder Singh persuaded the shooters to kill the Shaurya Chakra winner.

He said the investigation has revealed that Gurvinder is a close associate of gangsters Sukhpreet Singh alias Harry Chatta and Sukhmeet Pal Singh alias Sukh Bikhariwal, who are the prime suspects in the murder of the Shaurya Chakra awardee.

Three henchmen of the terrorist Rinda were arrested: Gurvinder was going to Khadoor Sahib in a white Lancer car with his associate Sandeep when the police arrested him.

An investigation has found that the confiscated explosives and weapons were smuggled from Pakistan through drones.

An FIR has been registered against the accused under NDPS Act, Arms Act, Explosive Substances Act, and Aircraft Act.

Two of his associates Sandeep Singh alias Kala and Gurpreet Singh alias Randhawa have also been arrested.

Police said the preliminary investigation indicated that the seized explosives and weapons were to be used to disrupt peace and harmony in the state on or around Independence Day.
