Thiruvananthapuram: Will Rebels Upset The Calculations

Thiruvananthapuram: Will the Rebels miscalculate the calculations of the Congress in Thiruvananthapuram? The campaign continues despite warnings.

The KPCC president has warned that strict disciplinary action will be taken against the rebel candidates.

Rebel harassment in power centers is the main crisis facing the Congress in Thiruvananthapuram.

The rebels increased their numbers by ignoring the group’s name and rejecting the names suggested by the ward committee.

Candidates started campaigning in several wards despite warnings from the leadership.

The KPCC president has warned of disciplinary action against rebel candidates in local elections.

The warning was that those running as rebel candidates should not think that they can return to the party after the election.

But in Thiruvananthapuram district, the rebel candidates are a threat to the Congress.

Rebel candidates started campaigning in about 10 wards in Thiruvananthapuram municipality.

The ground is being prepared for the contest between the UDF and the Rebels in Muttada, Kinavoor, Sreekaryam, Akkulam and Nelanchira wards.

The Rebel candidate is also active in the campaign, challenging the UDF in the Kalady ward, which is simmering divisions within the CPM over the allocation of the seat to the Jose K. Mani’s faction.

M. Rajappan Nair has already started the first phase of the campaign.

Rajappan Nair has also been the secretary of the NSS for more than 20 years. Reached the organizational arena through KSU.

Rajappan Nair said that the leadership, which had said that it should be ready to field a candidate, eventually rejected the group.

With the addition of the Rebel candidate to the ward with 8600 voters, the confidence of the Congress has eroded.

In Sreekaryam, two people placed fluxes on the palm of the hand. The leadership continues to try to persuade the INTUC leader.

The dispute over the candidate in Manikyavilakam ward is within the A group itself.

In the district panchayat divisions too, there is continuing discomfort in deciding the candidates. The dispute is in Kilimanoor, Kunnathukal, and Venjaramoodu divisions.

Despite claiming to be in a favorable political situation, the leadership is also worried that the war in the camp will derail the UDF.
