The trio of Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe could not win PSG: UEFA Champions League.

In the UEFA Champions League, France’s Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) lost their magic with star players like Leon Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar, which led to a 1-1 1-1 draw with Belgium’s Club Brugge.

For the first time this season for PSG, the trio of Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe were seen playing together but all three players failed to score.

While coming out from behind the brilliance of these three players, Ander Herrera managed to score the only goal for PSG.

When Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe took the field together for the first time for PSG at Jan Bredelstadion in Bruges, Belgium, they were warmly welcomed by some 27,000 fans present there.

After seeing these three strong strikers, it was believed that PSG would win this match easily but these three players could not score.

In the first half, PSG’s three players began to put pressure on Club Brugge, with Ander Herrera scoring a brilliant left-footed from the center box on Kylian Mbappe’s pass in the 15th minute to take the team 1–0. Gave an early lead.

Messi delivered a brilliant pass to Mbappe in the 23rd minute but Brugge’s Mignolet thwarted the effort by changing the direction of the ball.

In this way, Brugge nimbly cracked their defense in the midst of PSG’s strong game and Hans Vancken scored a brilliant goal in the 27th minute to level the score 1-1, and then there was no goal till the end of the first half.

Mbappe injured.

In the second half, once again Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe were seen running fast in the field in search of a goal.

Then in the 51st minute of the match, Mbape Brugge team player collided with Soki, injuring his right heel, and had to leave the match. Mauro Icardi enters the team as a replacement for Mbappe.

After Mbappe’s departure, the responsibility of scoring was now more on the shoulders of Messi and Neymar.

In the 70th minute, Messi kicked the ball with a forceful left foot but the ball could not go inside the goal post and just two minutes later, Messi was handed the yellow card.

Thus, despite several attempts, PSG players could not break into the Brugge team’s defense and the match ended in a 1-1 draw till the last minute.

During the match, Brugge’s team totaled 16 while PSG’s team could only hit nine shots towards the goal post. Whereas with this draw, PSG is in second place in Group A with one point.

In another Group A match, Manchester City beat Leipzig 6–3 to finish on top with three points ahead of PSG. At the same time, four goals from Sebastian Haller helped Ajax beat Sporting Lisbon 5-1.

Liverpool defeated AC Milan 3–2 to return to the tournament after seven seasons. Real Madrid beat Inter Milan with a goal while Atletico Madrid played out a goalless draw with Porto.
