Apart from the country’s capital Delhi, this number has increased due to late-night Omicron cases in Gujarat, Kerala, and Karnataka.

The Union Health Minister says that the government is continuously monitoring the situation in collaboration with experts.

The government has taken steps to deal with the spread of the virus.

According to him, due to the lessons learned by the country in the first and second waves of Corona, this new variant will not create the same atmosphere in the country as before.

Full stock of medicines.

According to the central government, there is sufficient stock of all important medicines in the country in view of the new variant.

About 17 crore doses of the anti-coronavirus vaccine are available with the states and union territories. In view of the new variant, the production capacity of the vaccine in the country has been increased.

Now it has increased to 31 crore doses per month. In the coming two months, it will be increased to 45 crore doses per month.

According to Mandaviya, so far 88 percent of people in the country have been given the first dose of vaccine and 58 percent have been given both doses.

WHO chief says-

The head of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, says that there is strong evidence that this variant spreads more rapidly than the other variant of the corona and is also vulnerable to those taking both doses of the vaccine.

His statement has come at a time when it was reported a few days ago that its cases are doubling in three days. Let us tell you that the cases of Delta variant also doubled within one and a half to three days.
