The Special Session Of Assembly Convened In Kerala

The Special session of assembly convened in Kerala, CM proposes against agricultural laws; BJP opposition.

A one-day urgent session of the assembly was called today in Kerala. In this session, the agricultural laws of the center were discussed.

This special session of the assembly was called in Kerala amidst the peasant movement.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan proposed against the agricultural laws of the central government in the house preceding the assembly.

During this, the Chief Minister said many things about agricultural laws. However, the BJP has opposed it.

During the special session of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the current situation makes it clear that if this movement continues, it will severely affect Kerala.

There is no doubt that Kerala will starve if the supply of food from other states stops.

The resolution placed in the assembly states that the country is going through a difficult situation and it is the duty of the state government to stand with the agitating farmers.

The proposal also states that the movement is taking place in the midst of inclement weather. The Chief Minister said, ‘All the three laws will only help the big corporate houses.

BJP MLA protested.

BJP MLA O Rajagopal opposed the proposal taken by the CM of Kerala opposing the agricultural laws of the Center.

He said that Congress had promised similar agricultural laws in its election manifesto. The CPI (M) also demanded the introduction of such legislation.

Now, both parties are opposing it. Farmers should not be misled.

The Congress and all other parties welcomed the Chief Minister’s proposal during this special session.

Congress Deputy Leader Casey Joseph criticized Governor Arif Mohammad Khan for the delay in allowing the session to be called.

The only BJP MLA O Rajagopal also attended the house preceding. This one-day house preceding was called to move a resolution against the agricultural law.

The Kerala cabinet had recommended Governor Arif Mohammad Khan to convene a special session of the state assembly.

The Kerala cabinet had spoken to the governor to convene a special session on 31 December.

Before that, the Governor refused to accept the Cabinet recommendation for the special session of the Assembly.
