The issue of conversion is gaining momentum in Chhattisgarh, BJP MLAs can submit a memorandum to the Governor today.

In Chhattisgarh, the politics regarding religious conversion has intensified. BJP and Congress are now face to face in the state over this issue.

On the previous day, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had alleged that there was maximum conversion during the tenure of the BJP government, after which the reply has come from the BJP side.

In fact, after the matter caught fire in the state, the BJP has informed the Governor about submitting a memorandum.

Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs can submit a memorandum to Governor Anusuiya Uikey in the matter of conversion in the state.

Speaking on the matter, BJP leader Brijmohan Agarwal said, “Many conversions are taking place in Chhattisgarh and action is being taken against those who try to stop them.”

“BJP MLAs can submit a memorandum to Governor Anusuiya Uikey regarding conversion of religion,” he said.

The issue of conversion: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had accused BJP.

Earlier on September 1, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel rubbished the BJP’s allegations of increasing conversions under his government and said that the maximum number of churches were built under the BJP rule in the state.

Along with this, he said that in the media reports on BJP Chintan Shivir, it has been told that 15 years of misrule of Raman Singh is being discussed.

Religious conversion is also part of this discussion. Records show that the maximum number of churches were built in Chhattisgarh under BJP rule.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, during a meeting with members of the party’s student wing NSUI (National Students’ Union of India), alleged that China has encroached upon a plot as large as the national capital Delhi in Ladakh.

The former Congress president, who addressed the meeting, also alleged that the media was keeping silent on the action of the BJP-led government while criticizing the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, sources said.
