The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Friday directed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to take over the investigation into the Phulwari Sharif terror module case.

After receiving the order from the Home Ministry, the NIA has started the process of taking over the case.

Patna Police has started the process of taking retired Sub Inspector of Jharkhand Police Mohammad Jalaluddin and lawyer Nooruddin Jangi on police remand.

Both of them have been arrested for alleged involvement in anti-national activities and alleged links with SDPI and PFI.

A senior NIA official told the news agency ‘We are in the process of handling the Phulwari Sharif PFI case.’ After the directive of the Ministry of Home Affairs came out.

Jalaluddin and Athar Parvez were arrested on July 13 from the Phulwarisharif area of ​​Patna and Jangi was arrested from Lucknow three days later.

Bihar Police has so far named 26 people and arrested five people in the Phulwari Sharif case. The police had recovered many incriminating documents.

It also included a document titled ‘Vision 2047 India’ on how to launch a ‘Jihad’ against the state.

Before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Patna on July 12, all these accused, including Phulwari Sharif, were running training camps to radicalize Muslim youth in different parts of the state.

He held meetings on July 6-7 and delivered communally inflammatory speeches. The Enforcement Directorate has also initiated a money laundering investigation against the accused in the case.
