Telangana Governor Tamilisai Sundararajan has congratulated 100 percent of the people of the state on taking the first dose of Covid vaccination.
Along with this, people have also been urged to take the second dose of Covid-19 vaccination at the earliest.
The Governor visited Chintabasti Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) in Hyderabad on Wednesday after the completion of 100% vaccination of the first dose of Corona in Telangana.
During this, while addressing the media on Wednesday, the Governor said that Telangana has completed 100 percent vaccination of the first dose of corona and 65 percent of the second dose.
He said that those who have not yet taken the second dose of vaccination should take the second dose as soon as possible. He said that just one dose is not enough.
It is also necessary to take a second dose of corona vaccination. He said that in the midst of the threat of Omicron, we are now moving towards a booster dose.
Expressing happiness over the completion of 100 percent vaccination of the first dose in Telangana.
The Governor appreciated the efforts of the state government, health officials, doctors, ASHA workers, and other para-medical staff for this achievement.
After this, Governor Sundararajan also thanked the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, for the adequate supply of vaccine doses in Telangana.
She further urged the people to strictly follow the rules of Corona to prevent the rapidly increasing cases of Omicron variant.
Governor Sundararajan further said that we need to be very cautious about Omicron even after taking the vaccination.
Health Minister Harish Rao also said that people who do not complete the vaccination are being badly affected by corona. People in Puducherry are also getting badly affected.
The Governor appealed to the people in Telangana not to be careless even after vaccination. Along with this, he also appealed to the people to fully follow the protocol of Corona while celebrating the new year.
