Team India was announced for the Sri Lanka tour on Thursday night, know the full schedule of the Sri Lanka tour.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the 20-member squad for the tour of Sri Lanka on Thursday night. On this tour, Team India will play in T20 and ODI series.

In the absence of an experienced player, opener Shikhar Dhawan has been given the captaincy of the team. Regular captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma are on a tour of England.

The Indian team going to Sri Lanka was secretly announced by the BCCI on Thursday night. The selectors selected the team without any virtual press conference.

The media was not even aware of the selection of the team going to tour Sri Lanka and the team came to the fore.

On this tour, India has to play in 6 limited-overs cricket format matches. All these matches will be played in Colombo.

On Monday, the full schedule of the series was revealed, in which the manner of the match to be played on the tour was told.

The team has to play in a three-match series with the hosts first on this tour. These matches will be played from July 13 to 18.

The first match will be played on the 13th. After this, the second match will be played on 16 and then the last ODI will be played on 18 July.

Talking about the T20 series, it is also going to be of three matches only. It will start on July 21 and the last match will be played on 25.

The first match will be 21, the second match 23 and the last match of the tour will be on July 25. All the matches will be played on the same ground at Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Shikhar Dhawan (capt), Prithvi Shaw, Devdutt Padikkal, Rituraj Gaikwad, Suryakumar Yadav, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Nitish Rana, Ishan Kishan (wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Yuzvendra Singh Chahal.

Rahul Chahar, Krishnappa Gautam, Krunal Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakraborty, Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Vice-Captain), Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini, and Chetan Sakaria.
