Target Killings in Kashmir: Home Ministry, Amit Shah took command in action on target killing of Hindus in Kashmir, situation will be brainstormed.

The Home Ministry has taken seriously the incidents of target killing of Hindus in Kashmir.

On the issue of security challenges in Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself has taken over the command.

Officials said on Wednesday that the Home Minister will chair a high-level meeting on June 3 with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and other officials to discuss the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

This will be the second such meeting in less than a fortnight amid the targeted killings by terrorists in the Valley.

Amarnath Yatra preparations will also be reviewed.

According to the news agency, officials said that apart from the Lieutenant Governor, senior officials of the Union Territory and the Union Home Ministry will participate in this review meeting.

This meeting is taking place in view of the targeted killing of Hindu government employees by terrorists in the Kashmir Valley.

The meeting can also review the preparations for the Amarnath Yatra. It is known that this journey can start at the end of this month.

In the last meeting, the focus was on the anti-terrorist operation.

In the last meeting held on May 17, the Union Home Minister emphasized a coordinated counter-terrorism operation.

He had directed the security forces to completely stop infiltration from across the border and completely wipe out terrorism from the Union Territory.

Will be posted in safe places

Meanwhile, a high-level meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in which it was decided that Kashmiri Hindu employees were appointed under the Prime Minister’s Employment Package in Kashmir and Hindu personnel of the Jammu division will be posted to safer places by June 6.

Not only this but a special cell will also be formed in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat and the General Administrative Department to solve their problems.

If any senior officer is found torturing them, then strict action will be taken against them.

A residential facility will also be provided.

If official sources are to be believed, Hindu employees will now be posted in a single city or town instead of being posted in remote areas.

Along with this, they will be provided a residential facility simultaneously. Terrorists had recently killed teacher Rajni Bala and employee Rahul Bhatt.

There is an atmosphere of fear among Hindu employees due to the increasing incidents of target killings in Kashmir. Hindu employees working in Rajni Kashmir are demanding their transfer.

Kejriwal demands security.

According to the news agency, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday expressed grief over the incidents of targeting Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir and demanded adequate security for them.

Kejriwal said that terrorist organizations want to disturb the communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir, that is why Kashmiri Pandits are being targeted.

Kashmiri Pandits are being killed continuously. These incidents have brought back memories of events that happened in the 90s.

Farooq Abdullah warned.

Meanwhile, National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has warned the government to be very cautious during the Amarnath Yatra.

He said that if even a minor untoward incident or untoward incident happens during the Yatra, it will have dangerous consequences not only for Jammu and Kashmir but for the entire country.

Hence the safety of the journey must be ensured. Instead of claiming that the situation in Kashmir is normal, the government should understand the truth, he said.
