Suspected New York Subway attacker with criminal background caught after NYPD’s intensive search: New York Subway Shooting.

Frank R. James, a 62-year-old man suspected of a mass shooting at a Brooklyn subway station on Tuesday, has been arrested.

Giving information about the arrest of the accused, the New York Police Commissioner said that due to the intensive search operation, the suspect has been arrested in about 24 hours.

About 23 people were injured in the shooting at the Brooklyn station, of which 10 people were shot.

New York Mayor Eric Adams also confirmed the arrest of the accused during a news conference. According to official statements, the accused James has been arrested in the East Village.

It is being told that the accused fled from the spot by train after committing the firing incident. After which he exited the metro system on 25th street via a local train.

It is being told that James, who was arrested on charges of firing, has a long criminal history. He has been arrested nine times in the past in New York itself.

According to the information given by the police, the accused had fled from the spot after the attack, but during the investigation at the spot, the police found some items belonging to the accused.

In which one semi-automatic handgun, 33 cartridge shells, 15 cartridges, two smag bombs, and some other items were recovered. Keys to a U-hall van were also found.

The van was found parked outside the Brooklyn subway station that James had hired. Along with this, a credit card was also recovered from the spot in which James’s name is mentioned.
