The Hijab case of Karnataka has now reached the Supreme Court. In a petition, the hearing of this case was transferred to the High Court and the Supreme Court was asked to hear it immediately.

However, rejecting this demand, the Supreme Court has told the petitioner that the matter is currently suspended in the High Court, so it cannot be heard.

The court has also said that today the matter is to be heard in the High Court. In such a situation, why has this matter been raised here?

Supreme Court refuses to hear hijab controversy: The court has also refused to give the petitioner a date for further hearing in the matter.

The Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court, Rituraj Awasthi, constituted a three-judge full bench on Wednesday to hear the matter.

Apart from the Chief Justice, this bench consists of Justice S Dixit and Justice Khaji Zaibunnisa Mohiuddin.

Let us tell you that this dispute started in January this year from Udupi and Chikkamagaluru in Karnataka.

At that time, in some educational institutions, girls had come wearing hijab, after which the matter had gained momentum.

After this, in Kundapur and Bidur of the state too, the matter had increased significantly after some girl students came wearing hijab in educational institutions.

In other colleges located in the state also, girl students had sought permission from the administration to come wearing hijab. After this, the matter took a political color.

In this matter, where the opposition in the state is taking a dig at the government, the ruling party BJP says that it cannot allow Talibanisation of the education system in the state.

At the same time, Congress has come out openly against the government on this issue.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi says that women and girls have every right to dress as per their wishes. It cannot be imposed.
