Corona condition stabilizing due to decrease in active cases.

NITI Aayog member (health) VK Paul said in the press conference that the condition of the corona is stabilizing with the decrease in infection rate, daily cases, and a number of under-served patients.

In the last nearly two weeks, there has been a decline of about 30 percent in districts with infection rates of more than 10 percent. On May 11, the number of such districts was 533 which has now come down to 382.

Nearly all districts of North India, including Delhi, have reduced infection rates.

In almost all the districts of North India, including the national capital Delhi, except Haryana, the number of districts with a high infection rate has come down.

While the number of such districts has increased in the states of South India. Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar have the highest number of districts.

More than one lakh active cases in eight states.

Health Ministry’s Joint Secretary Love Aggarwal said that the number of under-treated patients in eight states is more than one lakh.

These are the most active cases in Karnataka. He said that the infection rate in 18 states remains more than 15 percent.

Cases reduced by 23 percent in a week.

In the second wave of the epidemic, if we talk about the total number of patients that came out in the last week, then it has registered a decline of 23 percent.

However, the five percent increase in deaths continues to be a cause for concern. Last week, a total of 19,12,826 cases were found and 29,279 deaths, compared to 24,85,632 deaths and 27,964 deaths in the previous week.

Over 20 lakh checks in a row for four days.

Testing of samples, one of the most important weapons for detecting infections, is also increasing. More than 20 lakh samples are being tested every day for the last four days.

20.66 lakh samples were tested on Friday, 20.61 lakh on Thursday, 20.55 lakh on Wednesday, and 20.08 lakh samples on Tuesday.
