Stock Market: Sensex loses after opening with 300 points gain; know the prices of major companies. There is now one week left for the Union Budget to be presented. Its effect has started to appear in the domestic stock markets.

Due to this, there is a lot of fluctuation in the stock markets. Sensex, a 30-share sensitive index of the BSE, opened with a gain of 375 points on Monday but fell after that.

At 09:45 am, the Sensex was trending at a level of 48,681.85 points, falling 196.69 points, ie 0.40 percent. On the other hand, NSE Nifty was trending at 14,307.90 points with a fall of 64 points i.e. 0.45 percent. Earlier Nifty opened at the level of 14,477.80 points.

Stock Market: Sensex closed at the level of 48,878.54 in the previous session.

Sensex was seeing the highest decline of 4.25 per cent in the shares of Reliance Industries at 1.30 am. Apart from this, shares of Asian Paint were also down by 2.95 per cent.

At the same time, IndusInd Bank, ONGC, PowerGrid, SBI, Nestle India, HCL Tech, ITC, Doctor Reddy’s, Sun Pharma, Tech Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro, Maruti, Bharti Airtel, Hindustan Unilever Limited, NTPC, Bajaj Auto, Titan, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Kotak Mahindra Bank shares were trending with a red mark.

On the other hand, HDFC shares were trending up to 2.28 per cent. At the same time, the shares of Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finzerv, ICICI Bank, TCS, Ultratech Cement, Infosys and Axis Bank were trending with green mark.

Foreign institutional investors sold shares worth Rs 635.69 crore on a net basis on Friday, according to provisional data from the stock markets.

Experts say that due to the Republic Day holiday this week, monthly derivatives expiry, quarterly earnings figures and the upcoming budget, the stock markets may see very high volatility.

Domestic stock markets will remain closed on Tuesday on Republic Day.Other Asian stock markets are seeing a spurt in the afternoon session on Monday.
