Stock Market Opens With Gains, Gold, And Silver At Rising

Stock market opens with gains. The stock markets closed higher on the previous trading day. BSE’s 30-share sensitive index Sensex closed at the level of 38799.08, up 364.36 points, or 0.95 percent. Shares of ICICI and Axis Bank open.

Tuesday stock market opens with on the second trading day of the week. Bombay Stock Exchange’s major index Sensex opened up 133.07 points at 38,932.15 level. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty opened with a gain of 48.55 points at 11,515.00. Out of 50 stocks of the Nifty, 42 stocks were trading green, 7 stocks red and one share was traded without change.

The stock markets closed higher on the previous trading day. The 30-share sensitive index Sensex of the BSE gained 364.36 points, or 0.95 per cent, to close at 38,799.08. On the other hand, the NSE Nifty also gained 94.85 points to close at the 11,466.45 level.

The last trading day saw a boom in the markets around the world. The US market Dow Jones was up 378.13 points at 28,308.50, up 1.35 per cent. At the same time, the second US Nasdaq market closed at 11,626.20, up 71.01 points with an increase of 0.61 percent.

There has been a rise in the prices of gold and silver. The futures price of gold on October 5, 2020, was up 0.35 percent, or Rs 178, at Rs 51,447 per 10 grams on MCX exchange on Tuesday morning at 10.13 am. Apart from this, the futures price of gold on December 4, 2020, was currently trading at Rs 51,650 per 10 grams with an increase of 0.39 percent or Rs 201 on MCX.

Significantly, the domestic spot price of gold was at Rs 53,040 per 10 grams on Monday. There has also been an increase in silver prices in the domestic futures market. The silver futures of September 4, 2020, on MCX were trading 0.76 percent, or Rs 496, at Rs 66,065 per kg on MCX on Tuesday morning at 10.31 am.

Apart from this, the futures price of silver on December 4, 2020, was currently trading at Rs 68,188 per kg, rising by 0.27 percent or Rs 187. Significantly, on Monday, the domestic spot price of silver was at Rs 68,202 per kg.
