Special Diwali Muhurat Trading In The Stock Markets

Special Diwali Muhurat trading for One hour will take place in the stock markets on November 14, know its time. On the occasion of Diwali on November 14, major stock markets BSE and NSE will have a one-hour special Muhurat trading from 6:30 pm.

The two stock exchanges said in separate circulars that Muhurat trading on Diwali would be from 6.15 pm to 7.15 pm. All trades done in a Muhurat trading session are accompanied by a settlement obligation.

Diwali marks the beginning of a new year of Hinduism, along with a mundane business. It is believed that the Muhurta business brings prosperity and wealth to the businessmen throughout the year.

The stock markets will remain closed on November 16 on the occasion of Diwali Balipratipada, after the Muhurta business.

BSE has been organizing Muhurta sessions since 1957, while NSE has been doing since 1992. The Sensex rose 192 points to close at 39,250 in last year’s Muhurat trading session, while the Nifty closed at 1098 after registering a growth of 0.65 percent.

Despite the uncertainty over the outcome of the US presidential election, the strong trend of global markets saw the Sensex jump 724 points to cross the 41,000 mark on Thursday. This is the fourth consecutive trading session when markets closed with gains.

BSE’s 30-share Sensex opened in a positive position throughout the day after opening.

The BSE Sensex rose 724.02 points to 41,340.16 and the NSE Nifty jumped 211.80 points to close at 12,120.30. Out of 50 stocks of the Nifty, 48 stocks closed on the green mark and 2 on the red mark.

Today, on the last trading day of the week i.e. Friday, the stock market opened with a rise. Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex opened up 60.94 points at 41401.10 level.

At the same time, the National Stock Exchange Nifty started with a gain of 36.35 points at 12156.65. On the previous trading day, Sensex crossed the level of 41,000 points with a jump of 724 points due to the strong trend of the global markets.

Similarly, the Nifty closed at 12,120.30 with a gain of 211.80 points or 1.78 percent. This was the fourth consecutive trading session when markets closed with gains.

Major stocks of today include IndusInd Bank, Titan, Bajaj Auto, Coal India and Eicher Motors. At the same time, shares of Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and Power Grid opened on the red mark.

Speaking of sectoral index, today finance services, private banks and metal opened on the red mark. Realty, PSU Bank, Media, FMCG, Pharma, IT and Auto opened on the green mark.
