Sonali Phogat Death: Big action of Goa Police in Sonali Phogat case, club owner and drug peddler arrested.

The police have taken a big action in the alleged murder of BJP leader and social media star Sonali Phogat.

Police have arrested two more accused in the case. According to media reports, Goa Police have arrested the owner of the club and a drug peddler.

Let us inform you that earlier on Friday, the police arrested Sonali Phogat’s PA Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh.

Sonali Phogat Death: Sudhir and Sukhwinder were accused of giving drugs.

The police officer said that the name of the drug peddler is Dattaprasad Gaonkar. Dattaprasad had supplied drugs to both the accused Sudhir and Sukhwinder.

Dattaprasad Gaonkar was taken into custody from Anjuna, the official said. The accused have confessed that they had bought drugs from him.

Sonali was given something mixed with water – Police.

Goa Police IGP Omvir Singh Bishnoi held a press conference on Friday. The IGP had said that Sonali was made to drink something forcibly.

Sonali was staying at a hotel in Anjuna on August 22. The police have seized the CCTV footage installed in the hotel.

Scrutiny of the footage revealed that Sudhir Sangwan, the alleged accused in Sonali’s death, and his accomplice Sukhwinder Singh were partying with Sonali.

It is also seen in the video that the accused were forcibly making Sonali drink something. Sonali’s health deteriorated after drinking this. Sonali was taken to the hospital, but she had died.

Sudhir and Sukhwinder took Sonali to the washroom

Goa Police IG Omveer said that on August 23, at 4.30 am, Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder together took Sonali to the washroom of Karli’s restaurant.

All three stayed in that washroom for about two hours. It is not known what happened there during this time.

Congress demands a CBI inquiry.

Congress has demanded a CBI probe into the Sonali Phogat case. Leader of Opposition in Goa Michael Lobo said the police were trying to cover up the matter.

Lobo said such cases need to be probed by the CBI to find out the truth.
