The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of dense fog in the morning and evening at Bilaspur, Mandi, Una, and many other places. The weather is expected to remain clear from Sunday.

Due to no rainfall in the state for two months, Rabi crops could not be sown and the dry cold continues. Due to continuous drought and increasing pollution, air pollution has increased significantly in the Air Quality Index (AQI). Apart from Baddi, other districts are improving. The minimum temperature has dropped by one to two degrees while the maximum temperature has dropped by one to three degrees.

Farmers and tourism businessmen who have been suffering from drought for a long time are also expected to get relief.
Tourists are excited by the kindness of the weather
Many tourist vehicles reached Rohtang Pass on Saturday with the hope of snow. They were disappointed as they could not see snow but the tourists were very excited seeing the cold weather. After the tourists returned, the weather became pleasant in the late evening and snow fell in the pass. Snow fell in Shinkula and Baralacha passes on Saturday but the movement of vehicles towards Leh Ladakh and Zanskar Valley remained smooth.

Tourism businessmen of Rohtang, Ved Ram, Kamlesh, and Tula said that snow fell in the pass late on Saturday evening. He said that the hope of heavy snowfall in Rohtang Pass has increased. Hotel Association Manali’s Vice President Roshan Thakur said that the change in weather will give relief to the tourism businessmen. He said that tourists from all over the country are waiting for snowfall in Manali. In case of snowfall, there will be a flood of tourists here.
