Sikh girl voluntarily married a Sikh youth, another Sikh girl from Kashmir released a video asking for her and her husband’s safety.

An 18-year-old girl, one of the victims of so-called love jihad in Kashmir, voluntarily married a Sikh youth on Tuesday.

Various Sikh organizations in Kashmir have claimed that four girls were forcibly converted during the past month by making them victims of love jihad.

Two of these girls are allegedly from Tral, one from Mahjoor Nagar, Srinagar, and one from Rainawari.

Rainawari’s girl is 18 years old and the Muslim who had allegedly tricked her and ran her out of the house had already married twice. She has a daughter eight years old and herself 48 years old.

There was a lot of uproar over this issue.

Seeing the outrage created in the Sikh community, the girl was handed over to her family members late on Saturday night.

On Monday, there was a round of meetings between Sikh organizations and relatives of the victim girl of love jihad. During this, the girl said that she was misled.

She wants to die living in Sikh dignity. During this, a Guru Sikh youth proposed marriage in front of the girl. The girl gladly accepted it.

Both were married on Tuesday at Awantipora Gurdwara. Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi President Paramjit Singh said that we had a conversation with the girl, she told that she had not married yet.

With the consent of the girl, she got married. Meanwhile, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) claims that both the girls who were converted in Kashmir have come to their relatives.

Out of this, a young woman, along with the officials of DSGMC, reached Delhi on Tuesday and bowed her head at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.

Video Viral: Another Sikh girl who went missing from Kashmir in January has also made her video viral on internet media.

The said girl has filed a petition in the High Court for protection. This young woman told that she married Manzoor Ahmed Bhatt on January 20 according to Islamic beliefs and after that, she has also changed her name.

He had sought protection for himself from the court in May last.

On May 20, the court had directed the police to ensure that the girl’s father and mother or any other person on their behalf does not harass the girl and her husband in any way.

Yangvati said that her parents have lodged a complaint of kidnapping and forced conversion against her husband at Satwari police station. She has sought protection for herself and her husband.
