Home Minister Amit Shah’s security was breached, and a man claiming Andhra MP’s PA entered the convoy, arrested by Mumbai Police.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested by Mumbai Police for breaching the security of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

During Amit Shah’s visit to Mumbai, A man made the long rounds at the residences of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

During this, he tried his best to come close to Amit Shah. Police said that this person named Hemant Pawar is the personal secretary of an MP from Andhra Pradesh.

During the Home Minister’s visit to Mumbai, Hemant Pawar tried to get closer to Amit Shah by pretending to be a security officer of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

In this charge, the police arrested Hemant Pawar under section 170 and section 171 of IPC.

Amit Shah was on a Mumbai tour on 5 September. After visiting the king of Lalbagh, he went to Sagar, the official bungalow of Devendra Fadnavis, to hold a meeting with the leaders of the Maharashtra BJP.

The person moving around him also entered the Sagar bungalow. The accused had a batch of MHA around his neck, so no one doubted.

After some time, the top officer of the ministry caught sight of it and he found it suspicious. The officer gave this information to the Malabar Hill Police Station.

After which the police started interrogation by taking him into custody immediately. Due to not being able to give a satisfactory answer, the police arrested him.

Home Minister Amit Shah’s security was breached: According to the police, the accused claims that he has officially got the band of MHA, which the police are busy verifying.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Neelkant Patil told that the incident happened when he was watching the police settlement around Girgaum during Shah’s visit to the city on Monday.

On Monday, Home Minister Amit Shah was about to pass through Malabar Hill to visit the residences of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.

Patil was monitoring the police personnel posted on that route. Patil said that when Amit Shah reached Devendra Fadnavis’s residence, he saw a man in a white shirt and a blue blazer.

He had also put up an ID card of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Patil said, “The man was walking around the restricted area.

A few hours later, when Shah reached Eknath Shinde’s house, he was also seen there. On questioning, he revealed his name as Hemant Pawar and said that he is a member of the central agency.”

But when Home Minister Amit Shah returned to Delhi, the CRPF contacted the Zonal DCP. After this, the DCP sent Pawar’s photo to Patil, the police said.

The DCP said that they saw this person at the residences of Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde.

After this, the search for that person started. Eventually, the police arrested him from Nana Chowk on Grant Road on Tuesday.
