Shershaah Trailer Launch: Trailer of ‘Shershaah’ launched in Kargil among army personnel.

Kargil war hero Param Vir Chakra winner Captain Vikram Batra’s biopic film Sher Shah is releasing on the occasion of Independence Day.

The trailer of the film was released at a grand event among army officers in Kargil.

Shershaah will be released on August 12 on Amazon Prime Video. Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in the role of Captain Vikram Batra in the film.

Kiara Advani is in the female lead role, which is Vikram Batra’s girlfriend. Shershaah is directed by Vishnu Vardhan, while Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has produced the film.

The trailer launch event was attended by Karan Johar, the film’s star cast, director, Amazon Prime, and Dharma Productions officials along with General YK Joshi.

General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Northern Command and Chief of Defense Staff, General Bipin Rawat, who is working in Kargil were gathered in Kargil for Vijay Diwas.

Captain Vikram Batra had attained martyrdom while showing indomitable courage in the Kargil war in 1999. He was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, the Army’s highest medal.

The trailer of the film was also released on the internet on Sunday, which is being liked a lot. The trailer covers scenes from the personal life of Captain Vikram Batra to his participation in the Kargil War.

Shershaah Trailer Launch: The code name of Vikram Batra, who laid down his life for the country, was Sher Shah.

In the trailer, his dialogue will come either waving the tricolor or will come wrapped in the tricolor, which is being well-liked.

Sher Shah was earlier scheduled to be released in theaters, but later due to the pandemic, theaters remained closed and it was decided to release the film directly on the OTT platform.

Sidharth Malhotra has worked hard to play his character, which is also visible in the trailer.
