Shahrukh’s Son Aryan Khan Arrested In Drug Case

Shahrukh’s son Aryan Khan was arrested at a drugs party case, sent to NCB custody, action against eight people.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested eight people, including Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, for allegedly holding a rave party and found drugs on the cruise.

Aryan was detained along with seven others while having a rave party on a cruise going from Mumbai to Goa on Saturday night.

NCB had found narcotics like cocaine, charas, and MD from everyone. NCB reached Mumbai on Sunday morning with everyone.

Sent to NCB custody for a day.

Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha, and Arbaaz Merchant were arrested after interrogating all those detained.

The NCB produced the trio in the Metropolitan Magistrate’s court, from where they were remanded to one-day custody.

The eight people against whom action was taken by the NCB include Arbaaz Merchant, his two friends Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, and Nupur Sarika.

Ismet Singh, Mohawk Jaiswal, Vikrant Chhokar, Gromit Chopra, besides Aryan Khan.

It is learned that a fee of Rs 75,000 was also charged from those who attended it for the rave party. NCB chief SN Pradhan says that this action is the result of the ongoing investigation for two weeks.

Action has been taken against all the accused including Aryan Khan under sections 8-C, 20-B, 27, and 35 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).

Aryan’s lawyer said he went there on the invitation.

During his appearance in the court, the prosecutor’s lawyer Advait Sethna had demanded that Aryan be sent to NCB custody for two days. But the court granted only one day’s custody.

Aryan’s lawyer Satish Mane Shinde told the court that there was no cabin book or seat on the crew in Aryan’s name.

He didn’t even have a boarding pass. He went there only on invitation. He has been arrested only on the basis of WhatsApp chat.

Cruise company bid – we have nothing to do with a rave party.

The name of the cruise on which the rave party busted is Cardelia Cruises. Its operator company is Waterways Leisure Tourism Pvt. Ltd.

Cardelia Cruz has nothing to do with the rave party, said a statement issued by Jurgen Bellum, CEO of the company.

The company said – will cooperate in the investigation.

Jurgen Bellum said it was hired by an event management company in Delhi for a private event. Cardelia Cruises is a family entertainment company.

This incident is contrary to the nature of the company. The company strongly condemns this incident. Bellum has said that his company will fully cooperate with the investigating agency.

Drugs and money were recovered in the raid.

In this raid, narcotics like MDMA, Ecstasy, Cocaine, MD (Mephedrone), and Charas were recovered.

According to the NCB, 13 grams of cocaine, five grams of MD (Mephedrone), 21 grams of charas, and ecstasy besides Rs 1.33 lakh were recovered in the raid.

Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Seth Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha’s medical tests were done before the arrest.

NCB chief said – fair action will be taken.

People in this party were also informed through social media. The ticket price for a person at the party was kept at more than Rs 75,000.

NCB chief SN Pradhan said that we will investigate the entire matter impartially.

Even if there is a relationship with someone’s celebrity or rich people, then our action is not going to make any difference. We will work according to the law.

Drugs were hidden in underwear.

NCB had received inputs from sources that a party with drugs is going to happen on the beach on Saturday evening on the cruise ship Cardelia going from Mumbai to Goa.

On this information, team members led by NCB Mumbai’s Zonal Director Samir Wankhede boarded the cruise ship as passengers.

During the raid, searches were conducted in which narcotics were recovered, the official said. The accused had hidden the drugs in their clothes, underwear, and purse.

The rest of the accused will be produced on Monday.

NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede said that after receiving intelligence inputs, we carried out this operation in a very professional manner.

We have also seized several types of drugs. Our action is on, more leads will be found in the investigation.

Other accused will be produced in court on Monday. I cannot divulge everything as the matter is still under investigation.
