Lakhimpur Kheri Incident: Eight Died Including Four Farmers

Lakhimpur Kheri Incident: the uproar increased due to the death of eight including four farmers, efforts of opposition leaders including Priyanka failed to reach.

There is tension in the entire area after the death of eight including four farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri. Many opposition leaders including Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi are trying to reach there.

The police administration has stopped them from reaching Lakhimpur Kheri in view of the possibility of further ruckus with their arrival.

The farmers had announced a peaceful protest against Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya coming to the minister’s village on Sunday.

But, as soon as the vehicles of the minister’s supporters came out to pick up the Deputy Chief Minister, thousands of protesters armed with sticks pelted stones at them and set a vehicle on fire.

Meanwhile, an uncontrollable vehicle ran over the farmers. Four farmers were killed in this, while four BJP supporters were killed in the farmers’ attack.

The death toll from both sides is said to be higher, but could not be confirmed.

After getting information about the incident, many top officials including Lucknow divisional commissioner and IG have reached the spot.

A large number of police forces were also deployed in Tikunia. Forces of many districts have also been called here.

At the same time, the district administration has stopped internet services in Lakhimpur Kheri till further orders.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sent Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar to the spot as soon as he got information about the incident.

Leaving the program of his stay in Gorakhpur, he returned to the capital. After meeting with the officers, it has been said that the incident will be investigated immediately and no guilty will be spared.

On the other hand, Teni has given the death toll as five, alleging that the cause of the incident was stone-pelting and a fierce demonstration of farmers.

According to the developments, there was the closing ceremony and prize distribution ceremony of the riot held in Banvirpur, the native village of Kheri MP and Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Teni.

In which the Deputy CM of the state Keshav Prasad Maurya was invited as the chief guest.

It is said that after getting information about the arrival of the chief guest, many vehicles left for Banveerpur to receive him.

Then on the way, the agitators who were already protesting in thousands surrounded the convoy of these vehicles.

Due to which the vehicle went uncontrolled and ran over the protesters. It is said that many farmers were injured in this accident and Lovepreet Singh, a resident of Chogda Farm in Mazgai, died.

According to eyewitnesses, an angry mob attacked the vehicle of BJP leader Ashish Mishra Monu. In this Ashish ran away but, the driver Hariom got into the hands of the protesters.

The driver was beaten to death. At the same time, the driver of another vehicle also died due to a beating.

It is said that Daljit Singh, Guruwinder Singh resident Nanpara, Nakshatra Singh resident Dhaurhara have also died.

Two others were from the Bahraich district. In this arson, the Thar jeep of MP son Ashish Mishra Monu was set on fire by the protesters.

Along with this, many other vehicles were also set on fire. Four of the dead have not been identified.

Lakhimpur Kheri Incident: The officers stopped picking up the phones.

On one side Tikunia was burning, on the other hand, the officers of the district sat down with their mobile switch switched off or they didn’t even pick it up.

How many farmers were actually killed in this movement, how many vehicles were damaged, how many people were injured, what was the reason for this ruckus?

On this, none of the officials clarified their stand on behalf of the administration. Due to this, the market of rumors about the death toll was also hot for the whole day.

The Deputy CM returned after leaving the program: On Sunday, the program of the Deputy CM was very busy in Lakhimpur Sunday.

The Deputy CM was supposed to go to the MP’s village Banveerpur by offering schemes worth crores at the district headquarters.

But here a week ago, the spark that was smoldering from the MP’s statement had made all the preparations to smolder in Keshav Prasad Maurya’s program itself.

Due to this, the Deputy CM had to leave his program incomplete and leave for the capital.

The bodies were taken away from the hospital: Lakhimpur Kheri Incident.

Here, Dr. CS Singh, the acting chief medical superintendent of the district hospital, says that at around five o’clock on Sunday evening, two bodies were brought from Tikunia, which were kept in the mortuary.

But many people who came into the group insisted, they took both the bodies and refused to conduct the post-mortem.

Bhindranwale on the T-shirt of the protestor: Among these farmers protesting against the agricultural laws, Bhindranwale’s supporters were also there.

In a viral video, Bhindranwale’s photo is clearly visible on the protester’s T-shirt.

Almost all the protesters were armed with sticks, while it is being claimed that they had gathered to show the black flag to the Deputy Chief Minister.

It is true that two people were killed in the Tikunia incident. Four vehicles were also burnt during the incident.

This incident happened suddenly, the district administration was not aware of it. Farmers are being pacified, things are getting back to normal in Tikunia.
