Sensex Rises 343 Points, Nifty Near 14 Thousand

Sensex rises 343 points, Nifty near 14 thousand before the economic review is presented. Today, the stock market opened with a rise on Friday, the fifth trading day of the week before the economic review was presented.

At 09:26 in the morning, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s major index Sensex was trading 396.28 points at 47,270.64 and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty was trading at 13,933.25 with a jump of 115.70 points.

Sensex rises 343 points: The stock market closed with a heavy fall on the fourth trading day.

The Bombay Stock Exchange’s leading index Sensex fell 535.57 points to 46,874.36 levels and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty lost 149.95 points to close at 13,817.55.

INDEXINDBK 3.93%, M&M 2.26%, BAJFINANCE, ONGC, BAJAJ-AUTO, HDFCBANK, LT, KOTAKBANK, HDFC, ICICIBANK, BAJAJFINSV and ASIANPAINT were the biggest gainers in Sensex shares in early trade.

While stocks of AXISBANK, MARUTI, TCS, TECHM, HINDUNILVR and HCLTECH have been declining.

The stocks that saw a decline in yesterday’s business include Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank, PowerGrid, IndusInd Bank, HCL Tech and Bajaj Finserv.

On the other hand, the profitable stocks include Axis Bank, SBI, ONGC and ICCI Bank. According to provisional data available with the stock market, FPI sold shares worth Rs 1,688.22 crore on Wednesday.

Nifty shares

The rupee fell 13 paise to close at 73.05 per dollar on the previous trading day. The rupee had been steadily strengthening for the past six days.

After trading at a high of 73.04 and a low of 73.15 during trading, the rupee finally lost 13 paise to close at 73.05 per dollar against its previous closing price.
