Security forces killed a terrorist, firing continues- Shopian encounter.
So far, the security forces have succeeded in killing a terrorist in the ongoing encounter in the Czech Choland area of the Shopian district of Kashmir.
Two terrorists are still hiding. Intermittent firing is going on from both sides. The local police and security forces came to know about the presence of terrorists in the area.
After this, a search operation was launched in the area. During this, the terrorists had a face-off with the security forces. First of all, the security forces warned the terrorists to surrender.
The terrorists ignored this warning and started firing.
Firing continues from both sides. Based on preliminary information, it is being told that two to three terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization have been surrounded.
People living nearby have been asked to stay away from the encounter site through loudspeakers.
On October 20, two terrorists of terrorist organization TRF were killed by security forces in the Shopian district of Kashmir.
TRF district commander Adil Ahmed Wani was also involved.
Let us inform here that Adil was the same terrorist who had killed Sakir Ahmed Wani, a resident of Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh, in Pulwama in October last under Target Killing.
