Current Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Senior Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Saturday.
However, Assam BJP President Ranjit Kumar Das said so much on Tuesday that one of the current Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal or Senior Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be given the command of the state.
He said that the decision of the next Chief Minister of the state will be taken in the party’s Central Parliamentary Board meeting to be held in Delhi.
The party is sending a supervisor, who will give his feedback to the parliamentary board. Das said, Sonowal or Sarma, either of them will be the Chief Minister.
