Ross Taylor Created History For New Zealand Cricket

Ross Taylor created history for New Zealand, breaking all players’ records in this case.

Kiwi batsman Ross Taylor created a history as New Zealand team played in the first match of the two-match Test series against Pakistan.

Right-hander Ross Taylor became the first player to play the most international matches for New Zealand on Saturday. He has played more than 400 matches in all three formats so far.

Ross Taylor went on to play in his 438th International match against Pakistan. With this, he became the only player to have played the most matches for New Zealand.

The New Zealand Cricket Board has tweeted that it has been reported that Ross Taylor went on to play in the 438th match.

Adding all three formats to become the highest international match player for the Kiwi team. Before him, spinner Daniel Vettori did this job for New Zealand.

Vettori played 437 international matches for New Zealand. Number three in this list is Brandon McCullum, who has represented the New Zealand team in 432 matches.

At number four is Stephen Fleming, who has played 395 matches for the Kiwi team.

The New Zealand team, who came into the first match of the two-match Test series after winning 2–1 in the three-match T20 series, were initially jolted, but captained by Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor.

In the first Test against Pakistan, New Zealand did not start well, as in the first over, Tom Latham was dismissed by Shaheen Afridi.

Tom Blundell tried to side with Kane Williamson, but their partnership also did not last long, as Afridi was sent back to the pavilion in the 11th over.

After this, Ross Taylor, who created history, came on the field and he supported the captain.

First Australia piled on 195, India lost one wicket

The second match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia is being played at Melbourne Cricket Stadium in Melbourne.

In this match, Australia captain Tim Paine won the toss and decided to bat first, but the team collapsed for 72.3 overs 195 runs.

In response, the Indian team has scored 36 runs losing one wicket in 11 overs till the end of the first day’s play.

Shubman Gill returned unbeaten after scoring 28 runs and Cheteshwar Pujara scored 7 runs.
