Ravi Bishnoi bowled brilliantly in the debut match but made a big mistake in fielding: Ind vs WI.

21-year-old leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi made his debut in the first T20 match between Team India and West Indies at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata on Wednesday.

His performance in the match was excellent. He bowled very tightly and did not allow the West Indies batsmen to score runs freely.

However, he made a mistake in fielding which he would regret. Apart from this, everything was in his favor in this match.

Bishnoi was given the cap by fellow player Yuzvendra Chahal before the match. It is known that Bishnoi has taken 24 wickets in 23 matches of IPL.

In the match against West Indies, he came to bowl for the first time in the eighth over. In this over, he gave a total of four runs including two wides.

After this, he came to bowl in the 11th overs and took two wickets. He sent Ruston Chase to the pavilion on the second ball of the over. Chase could not pick up the googly and became LBW.

Three balls later, he also made Rovman Powell walk. Venkatesh Iyer was caught out on the boundary in the midst of hitting Powell six.

Ravi Bishnoi, while bowling economical in the debut match, conceded 17 runs in four overs at an economy rate of 4.2 and took two wickets.

However, he made a big mistake in fielding. Yuzvendra Chahal came to bowl the seventh over. Nicholas Pooran played an aerial shot on the very first ball.

Bishnoi, standing at long-off, took the catch while going backward, but he could not control himself, his foot touched the boundary.
