Rajasthan Congress Crisis: Phone tapping case of MLAs created trouble for the Gehlot government, MLAs expressed resentment. New trouble has arisen in front of the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan, which is struggling to save the government due to the rebellion of 19 Congress MLAs.

The internal politics of the Rajasthan Congress intensified after the list of phone tapings of the Gehlot camp MLAs staying at the Suryagarh Hotel in Jaisalmer went viral on social media. The MLAs who are named in this list have expressed their displeasure.

According to sources, in the presence of Congress National General Secretary Avinash Pandey and the four national secretaries, these MLAs lodged their protest and said that they are openly with CM Gehlot, then it is wrong to tap his phone.

He also conveyed his displeasure to the party’s organization general secretary KC Venugopal. These MLAs warned to go from Jaisalmer to Jaipur. However, after much persuasion by Venugopal and Avinash Pandey, these MLAs agreed to stay there.

After the persuasion by the national leaders, the Minister of Autonomous Governance Shanti Dhariwal issued a statement in the media saying that the talk of phone tapping is wrong. This rumor has been spread by BJP. Dhariwal is also named in this list.

One of these MLAs, on the condition of not printing his name, said that after the list was released on social media, we asked the top police officers of our contact the truth, they told all the MLAs to be monitored by the intelligence police. Officials have also not denied the talk of phone tapping.

According to sources, the matter of phone tapping has reached Congress President Sonia Gandhi. But these are the same MLAs on whom Gehlot supporters suspect that they can change the path to the Sachin Pilot camp.

MLAs Baljit Yadav, Zahida, and Rohit Bohra are named in the list of phone tapings. All three have been in contact with the pilot. However, Gehlot is now in the camp.

Police is giving repeated cleaning

In view of the displeasure of MLAs over phone tapping, the police are repeatedly clarifying. Director-General of Police Bhupendra Yadav denied the talk of phone tapping at the Suryagarh Hotel in Jaisalmer, saying it was baseless. He directed to take action in the case registered in the cyber police station.

He has asked Jaipur Police Commissioner Anand Srivasta to complete the investigation immediately. It is noteworthy that in the phone tapping case, there were allegations that high officials of the police are tapping the phones of MLAs in association with officers of private telephone companies while sitting in Mansarovar, Jaipur.

Preparation for full investigation shelving
