As soon as the clearance was received after four o’clock in the evening, the trains started operating. In Delhi and adjoining cities, the protesters did not damage the railway property, but in many places, they sat on the track from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Due to this, the movement of 25 trains of Northern Railway was interrupted. These include 19 trains of the Delhi Division. Many trains stood at different railway stations for hours.

The farmers sat on the track from 12 to 4 pm on Thursday afternoon. DRM Rajesh Aggarwal of Ferozepur Railway Division said that no train was canceled and no one’s route was changed.

Trains were stopped at such places so that passengers did not have to face much trouble.

Around 20 thousand soldiers of RPSF deployed

IG of Railway Protection Force of Northern Railway SN Pandey said that no untoward incident occurred in all the five divisions. He said that a case has not been filed under the Railway Act yet.

The deployment of additional personnel was extensive and extensive preparations were made by the railway administration.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) and State Police (GRP) as well as about 20,000 personnel of Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) were deployed to protect railway stations and tracks.

No sabotage or damage reported anywhere

Security was beefed up at all other railway stations including New Delhi, Old Delhi, Anand Vihar Terminal, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram since morning.

Senior officers were monitoring the situation from the control room. The movement of trains started on all routes after the security check at the end of Chakka jam at 4 pm.

Deepak Kumar, the chief public relations officer of Northern Railway, claims that the flywheel jam has not had much effect.

More than six hundred trains operate on Northern Railway. About 25 of these trains have been affected. There were no reports of sabotage or any damage from anywhere.
