Describing the new agricultural laws as an ambush on the chest of farmers, the Congress leader said that this law, which came after demonetization and flawed GST, would also be fatal for the country. Rahul Gandhi said this during a virtual dialogue with some farmers of the country.

Releasing a video of this on his social media platform, Rahul said that after the new agricultural laws, the West India Company will now come like the East India Company. He said that in reality there is no difference between demonetization, GST, and agricultural laws.

Rahul said that this is why Congress is organizing a protest movement against the new law in the entire country. It is also fully supporting the demand of farmers and their organizations. Talking about the farmers’ movement and their voice being very powerful, Rahul said that during the freedom movement, the loud voice of the farmers played an important role in achieving independence.

The Congress leader said that during the protest march of Bhatta Parsaul during the protest against the Land Acquisition Act, he saw that the big industrialists want to take away not only the farmers’ land but their produce. Rahul said that even when he fought the first battle on the issue of land acquisition, the media attacked him and the same is happening now.

Rejecting the government’s claims of abolishing black money through new laws, Rahul said that this is right but the real motive behind this is to weaken the poor, laborers, and farmers. Farmers from Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, and Maharashtra, etc. participated in this dialogue with Rahul Gandhi.
