In the country, BJP is talking about the development of Gujarat, but instead of women’s safety, it has given a different message by deciding to free 11 gang-rape prisoners on Independence Day.

Noor Jahan says that while the country is celebrating the nectar festival of freedom, the Gujarat government has freed the culprits of gang rape and murder of 7 people.

Where the government wants to take the country, it will increase crimes against women. Leaving the guilty of cases like murder and rape is like instigating criminals.

Congress MLA Gyasuddin Sheikh, Imran Khedawala, Youth Congress national spokesperson Parthivraj Kathvadia, etc. were also involved in the demonstration.

In January 2008, a special CBI court in Mumbai sentenced 11 people to life imprisonment for the gang rape of Bilkis and the murder of seven family members.

Prisoner Radheshyam Shah had pleaded for release from jail in the Supreme Court recently, after completing his 15-year sentence.

The court had handed over the matter to the state government to take a decision in this regard.

The government had sent the Jail Advisory Committee to consider it, which had decided to release all the 11 prisoners last day.

BJP MLA from Godhra CK Raulji, Panchmahal Collector Sujal Mayatra, officers of the District Social Welfare Department, Superintendent of Police, and Deputy Superintendent of Jail are the members of this committee.

Some culprits are brahmins.

MLA Raulji said on the release of the prisoners that they have completed their sentence of about 15 years.

There are some guilty Brahmins among them, who have good sanskaras. He said that we have acted on the directions of the Supreme Court,

We inquired about their conduct from the jail authorities. During the sentence, due to good conduct and some prisoners being Brahmins and having good manners, it was decided to free them.

He also says that many times it happens in riots that one who is innocent gets trapped, it may happen that due to enmity with them, they may have been implicated.
