Preparations begin for peaceful elections in 5 states including Bengal, 25 thousand central forces will be deployed: Assembly Elections 2021.

At least 25,000 personnel of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) will be deployed during the assembly elections to be held a few months later in four states and one union territory.

Officials said on Saturday that the Ministry of Home Affairs has directed to deploy 250 companies of CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, and SSB in the assembly elections.

75 companies will be put into standby mode and will be deployed in the state where they are needed. Assembly elections are expected in Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry in April-May this year.

Meanwhile, 12 companies of CAPF reached on Saturday before the announcement of assembly elections in Bengal.

Officials said two companies reached Durgapur by train, out of which one company has been sent to Birbhum and one company to Bankuda district. At the same time, a company has reached Bardhaman.

Elections are going to be held in five states this year. The deployment of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) has started in the states to complete the election process in a peaceful manner.

On Saturday, central forces started the process of reaching the states. The Election Commission is very concerned and cautious about security in West Bengal.

The Election Commission has decided to send 125 companies of CAPF to Bengal. According to the news agency, CAPF companies for five states left on Saturday.

According to information received from the news agency, 45 companies are being sent in Tamil Nadu, 40 in Assam, Assam, 10 in Puducherry, and 30 in Kerala.

However, election dates have not been announced in any of these five states. The Election Commission has already issued an advisory regarding the deployment of electoral officers in these states.

In such a situation, BJP is keeping a close watch on many Trinamul MPs including Nusrat Jahan, Mimi Chakraborty. The saffron party is trying to bring them into its camp.

BJP through its strategy is trying to weaken Trinamool not only in Bengal but also in the politics of the Center.

According to sources, among the MPs who are eyeing the BJP, the names of Dev, Shatabdi Rai, Aparupa Poddar, Prasun Banerjee, Shishir Adhikari, Dibyendu Adhikari, Mimi Chakraborty, and Nusrat Jahan are notable.
