PM Narendra Modi will launch many projects in Kerala, will hand over Kasaragod Solar Power Project to the nation.

PM Narendra Modi will launch several projects in the electoral state of Kerala. On February 19, PM Modi will launch power and urban projects in Kerala.

Under this, the PM will also dedicate the fifty MW Kasaragod Solar Power Project to the nation.

Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stone of the Integrated Command and Control Center at Thiruvananthapuram costing Rs 94 crore.

The PMO said that the Prime Minister will inaugurate the 320 VK Pugalur (Tamil Nadu) – Thrissur (Kerala) power transmission project.

This voltage source converter (VSC) based High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) project is India’s first HVDC project.

Constructed at a cost of Rs 5,070 crore, this western region will be able to transfer 2000 megawatts, which will meet the increasing demand for power in Kerala.

At the same time, the central government has invested around Rs 280 crore on 250 acres of land spread in the villages Pivlike, Meinja, and Chipper in Kasargod district.

Apart from this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the smart roads project in Thiruvananthapuram, which is estimated to cost Rs 427 crore. The state capital envisages the conversion of 37 km of existing roads into world-class smart roads.

For the first time in his second term, PM Modi will address the Joint Commander’s Conference of the three armies in Kewadiya in the first week of March.

Government sources said the Joint Commander Conference 2021 will also be attended by officers of the commander-in-chief rank of the three armies as well as organizations of the three forces, such as the Integrated Defense Staff Headquarters, Strategic Forces Command, and Port Blair based Andaman and Nicobar Command.
