On this occasion, PM Modi released a commemorative coin of Rs 75 at 11 am. Along with this, PM Modi also dedicated 17 bio-cultivated varieties of 8 crops developed recently to the nation. Two days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared this information.

Let me tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had tweeted that on October 16 i.e. at 11 am today, commemorative coin of 75 rupees will be released on the occasion of 75th anniversary of FAO and 17 biofortified varieties of 8 crops recently developed. Will also be dedicated to the nation.
Releasing the coin, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this year’s Nobel Peace Prize being awarded with the World Food Program is a major achievement. India is happy that our contribution and engagement with it has been historic.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) was issued 2 days ago that the program is dedicated to the highest priority given by the government to the agriculture and nutrition sector. It also contributes to strengthening the government’s resolve to eradicate hunger, undernutrition, and malnutrition altogether.
Big meeting of PM Modi on the situation of COVID-19, emphasis on increasing sero survey and test
Calling for a high state of constant vigilance and preparedness against the corona epidemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday directed health officials to conduct a massive investigation and serosurvey of Covid-19.
He said that regular and rapid testing facilities should be available to all at a low cost. While chairing the review meeting on the study of epidemics and the progress of vaccine formulation, the Prime Minister also noted the importance of traditional treatment methods.
The Prime Minister reiterated the country’s resolve to provide cheap and easily available solutions for testing, vaccine and medicine not only to India but to the entire world.
The meeting was also attended by Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, NITI Aayog member (Health), Chief Scientific Advisor, and other officials. The official statement said that in the meeting, the Prime Minister also underlined the need for traditional medical treatments.
