On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the martyred Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel.

Let us inform you that the attack on the CRPF convoy took place on February 14, 2019, in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. 40 soldiers were martyred in this attack.

Army today also paid tribute to the 40 CRPF jawans who were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack.

On this occasion, CRPF ADG Daljit Singh Choudhary paid tribute and said that our aim is to maintain peace and harmony in the area.

Along with this, the Indian Army Additional Directorate General Public Information Department tweeted that ‘Army Chief General MM Naravane and officers of all ranks of the Indian Army pay tribute to the brave soldiers of Central Reserve Police Force’.

PM Modi paid tribute to the martyrs: Suicide bomber attacked.

In this incident, a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle full of explosives into the bus.

The convoy had 78 buses in which about 2,500 jawans were traveling from Jammu to Srinagar. After this, 40 soldiers were martyred in the attack.
