Although the Center was asked by the Center to make arrangements for such children, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has also announced to take responsibility for such children on behalf of the government.

These announcements include free education, health insurance, monthly stipends, and one-time lump sum assistance of Rs 10 lakh at the age of 23.

A loan will also be given for higher education.

Announcing such children, the Prime Minister said that children are the future of the country and the country will do everything to help and protect children so that they develop properly and they become mature citizens in the future.

It is noteworthy that two years of the second term of the Modi government are being completed on Sunday. Just before this, the government has made these big announcements.

It is being told that BJP-ruled state governments will also make announcements for orphans on their behalf.

Prime Minister Modi, after deliberating in an important meeting, made several announcements about the help and livelihood of the orphaned children in the Corona epidemic.

The Prime Minister announced for the orphaned children that it is the responsibility of society to take care of the children who have lost their parents or guardians and are in trouble and to give them a golden future.

Fix deposit will be made in the name of children.

According to the announcement, a fund of 10 lakh will be created for each child under a special scheme with the contribution of PM Cares.

When the child turns 18, he will be given monthly financial assistance for five years from this fund so that he can meet his needs and higher education requirements.

At the age of 23, he will be given a lump sum amount of 10 lakh rupees of this fund so that he can meet his personal and business needs.

The government will bear the expenses of studies.

Children under 10 years of age will be admitted to the nearest central school or private school. If the child is admitted to a private school, then his fee will be paid from PM Cares according to the RTE rules.

Not only this, but PM Cares will also spend on the uniforms and copybooks of the child. Admission of 11 to 18-year-olds will be done in any central government residential school like Sainik School, Navodaya Vidyalaya, etc.

If the child lives with a mentor, his / her admission will be done in the nearby central school or private school.

PM Cares will pay interest on higher education loans.

Children who lose their parents will be helped to avail education loans for higher education and vocational education.

According to the existing schemes, education loans will be helped and the interest of this loan will be paid from PM Cares.

Apart from this, under the Central and State Schemes, such children will be given a scholarship equivalent to tuition fees or course fees for an alternative undergraduate or vocational course.

Children who are not eligible to get scholarships under the existing schemes will be given the same scholarship from PM Cares.

Health insurance will be five lakhs.

Such children will be given health insurance of up to five lakhs under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. The premium for the insurance will be paid from the PM Cares Fund till the age of 18 years.
