The border of all the villages of the Newria area of Pilibhit is adjacent to the Mahof range of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve and the Surai range of Uttarakhand.

Although usually the movement of wildlife is seen in all the villages of this area, after the death of three people in continuous tiger attacks in the last month, the villagers are now in a panic.

Now the forest department officials have started correspondence with the higher authorities for permission to tranquilize the tiger.

It is expected that after getting permission, tranquilization will be implemented.
