Petrol and diesel prices rose for the 11th consecutive day, know where the prices reached. The prices of petrol and diesel continue to rise daily.

Today, on Friday 19 February, for the eleventh consecutive day, the prices of petrol and diesel went up. Petrol climbed 31 paise per liter to Rs 90.19 on Friday. Diesel also jumped 33 paise to Rs 80.60 per liter.

Both fuels are at an all-time high. In Mumbai, petrol has reached Rs 96.62, which is the highest among metro cities. The price of diesel has reached Rs 87.67 per liter.

Petrol in Kolkata has reached Rs 91.41 and diesel Rs 84.19 per liter. Petrol and diesel prices in Chennai are 92.25 and 85.63 per liter respectively.

In the other state of Rajasthan Rajasthan, the price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter. Petrol is being sold at Rs 100 for 25 paise and diesel at Rs 90.35 in Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh.

Rajasthan has the highest VAT on petrol. Madhya Pradesh has the highest tax after that.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, while replying to a debate on the Governor’s address in the assembly this week, blamed the central government for increasing petrol and diesel prices in the state.

The Meghalaya government has reduced the price of petrol and diesel by more than seven rupees per liter. In this state, the government has reduced VAT on petrol from 31.62 percent to 20 percent or Rs 15 per liter (whichever is higher).

VAT on diesel was reduced from 22.95 to 12 percent or Rs 9 per liter, whichever is higher. You can also know the price of petrol and diesel through SMS. Petrol and diesel prices change every day at six in the morning.

After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles. The new rates are applicable from 6 o’clock in the morning.

Gold futures fall, silver too cheap, know what is going on

The last trading session of the week saw a significant decline in gold prices. With this, silver also became very cheap.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at 11:57 am, the price of delivery gold was falling by Rs 129, or 0.28 percent, to trend at Rs 45,997 per 10 grams.

In the previous session, the price of gold in the April contract was Rs 46,126 per 10 grams.

Similarly, in June 2021, delivery gold was trading at Rs 46,165 per 10 grams with a break of Rs 130, ie 0.28 percent. On Thursday, the gold price in the June contract was Rs 46,295 per 10 grams.
