Parambir Singh met Sachin Waze, Probe ordered by Government; Know what is the whole matter.

The controversy escalated over a meeting between Parambir Singh and Sachin Waze, orders for the inquiry were given.

The Maharashtra government has ordered a probe into the meeting between former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh and sacked police officer Sachin Waze on Tuesday.

The meeting between the two took place on Monday when Parambir Chandiwal appeared before the Commission of Inquiry. Notably, Parambir and Waze are co-accused in a Mumbai extortion case.

The two met during their appearance before the Commission of Inquiry on Monday.

Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil said that Waze is currently in judicial custody. As per the rules, he is not allowed to meet anyone.

I have directed Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale to investigate the matter. The Home Minister said such a meeting between Waze and Param Bir was absolutely wrong.

The meeting can be fixed only with the permission of the court. But it seems that Parambir has not got any such permission to meet Waze.

Parambir Singh met Sachin Waze: As the dispute escalated, the Maharashtra government handed over the investigation to the Mumbai Police Commissioner.

It is noteworthy that the two met on Monday on the second floor of a building in South Mumbai. The building also houses the office of Parambir Singh.

Waze was brought here for cross-examination. According to sources, Parambir and Waze spoke to each other for more than 30 minutes.

Deshmukh’s lawyer objected to the meeting before the panel. The statement of the four policemen, who brought Vajhe, was recorded on Monday itself when there was a ruckus.

The Home Minister also expressed his disappointment over Parambir using a government vehicle.

He said that Parambir is not on duty and is facing very serious charges. In such a situation, the use of government vehicles will also be investigated.

Parambir and Waze conspired for Antilia scandal: Nawab Malik.

Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik on Tuesday alleged that former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh and sacked policeman Sachin Waze hatched a conspiracy to make bombs near Antilia.

Talking to reporters in Pune, Malik claimed that the duo had even hatched a plan to kill a goon in a fake encounter by pretending to be a Pakistani national with the help of a fake passport.

The NCP leader also claimed that Parambir and Vajhe had “misled” the state home ministry in the Antilia case.
